Sage brown butter
- 1/3 stick sweet cream butter
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- handful of fresh sage leaves, chopped
In a small skillet, melt the butter on the lowest heat possible. Add the chopped sage. Cook at least 20 minutes, but longer is better. Watch the butter and don’t let it boil. Just let the mixture simmer gently.
Pour the butter over something savory, like pasta or squash. Or pasta made out of squash. You will not regret this decision- promise.
